A better brief makes a better MVP

Define the first useful release before you define every feature.

Maroofa Tech editorial · 7 October 2026

Name one primary outcome

A useful brief describes who needs the product, what they are trying to do and what success looks like. Start with that outcome before listing screens.

Draw the complete journey

Include empty states, failed actions and the final handover. These small details often decide whether an MVP feels complete.

Agree on acceptance

Use concrete examples for what the release must do. Separate the first release from future ideas and record dependencies such as APIs or accounts.
